Felix's brand new album
"Virgo Blaktro & the Movie Disco"
is being released on October 2 and to celebrate,
we're giving YOU the opportunity to take part in this killer contest.
Submit your best Electro/Alt Rock mix and you could be flying to New York City to play a live set just
prior to Felix at his November 3 show at Rebel. We're calling all DJs to put together their best 30-minute mix.
Get ready to have some fun, get creative and showcase your musical taste and mix skills. You'll then simply
complete the submission form and upload your mix to the contest site
HERE.
Contest closes Thursday, October 18 at 11:50 PM PST.
You can also listen and critique other mixes and check out the reviews from other fans and DJs on the
"Listen" page. However, winners will not be selected solely on these ratings.
Beatport and Beatportal will do judging, and the winner will be selected by Felix himself.
We'll be choosing one grand prize winner and four runners up.
One (1) Grand Prize Winner will receive the following prizes:
1) Return airfare for winner and one friend to New York City, NY
2) Two (2) nights hotel accommodation in New York City, NY
3) $500.00 US spending money

Rules & Regulations
Requirements for mix submissions:
1) Mix submitted must be no longer than 30 minutes, in MP3 file format, maximum size of75 MB. Track listing must be included listing song titles and artist/remix names.
2) Genre for mix: is Electro/Alternative Rock.
3) Mix must include ONE (1) Felix Da Housecat track (remix or original).
4) Set must be mixed live (NO computers, Pro Tools, or editing).
5) Entrants need to have at least three (3) years experience spinning in clubs, parties, etc. You'll need to provide detailed information on the submission form.
6) Contest is only open to legal residents of the USA (excluding Rhode Island) and Canada (excluding Quebec).
7) Entrants must be 21 years of age or older.
8) Only one (1) entry per person.
